in 2025 a group of adopted, fostered, and trafficked abolitionists attended the Black Mothers March on the White House in solidarity with parents, kin, and community who are fighting the forced removal of their children by family policing systems. We made and wore shirts with this image to wear at the march. We will continue to organize more adopted, fostered, and trafficked people to attend and build with the Black Mother’s March and comrades fighting to abolish family policing.

It invites people impacted by family policing and family separation to visualize solidarities with other people and their related experiences.
